Description
A statue of Diana the Huntress. Situated in front of the 17th century Bantry House, on the East side, and partly hidden in the long grass, the goddess of the hunt is holding a deer. She also had the power to talk to animals. It is a copy of a statue from the Palace of Versailles, to the west of Paris,France.
Bantry House is the largest and grandest Stately Home in West Cork.
Situated overlooking stunning Bantry Bay, this large house dates back to the 17th Century, and the Estate comprises 100 acres of garden and woodland.
