According to scientists the Earth was spinning faster in 2020 and is expected to rotate even faster in 2021,
As I was walking in Greenwich Park and seeing people on their way to learn about the movement of the planets in our solar system I thought about what the scientists had said.
I used Intentional Camera Movement to convey this sense of the rotation of the Earth and everything on it speeding up, albeit only in milliseconds!
The Royal Observatory, Greenwich (ROG) is situated in Greenwich Park in South East London overlooking the River Thames. Founded in the reign of Charles II in the 17th century it has played a major role in the history of astronomy and navigation. For example the Prime Meridian runs through Greenwich and so we still refer to Greenwich Mean Time.
