In addition to the banner, I am adding this more permanent recognition of its FEATURE on the homepage of A TREE OR TREES IN BLACK AND WHITE. I try mightily to feature only images that would be at home in a juried competition. No doubt that this image fits that bill. CONGRATULATIONS! And consider adding your image to DISCUSSIONS "Please post your featured photograph here" for greater, long-lasting visibility.

There is something to be said about Winter trees. They have so much character! And you've captured this one nicely. It sure does have a beautiful shape. Its branches are fingers reaching out and up to heaven. And it holds that bird's nest tightly. And where would that man and his dog stop to rest if not for that tree? LOL L/F
Catherine Sullivan replied:
Thank you so much, Deborah, for your nice comment.
Morris Finkelstein
